Lets Book Kenya Safari Trip

Get Started

“I came across WildTrails after some disappointing attempts at finalizing a dream trip to Masai Mara with local Kenyan tour companies that were offering us inflexible and expensive deals. I stumbled upon their website by serendipity after almost having given up. Having never heard of them before I was hesitant to contact them but a review on their website read that they were like the light at the end of the dark tunnel which is exactly how things turned out for us as well! The folks here are very helpful and resourceful. When we reached the Nairobi airport 3 hours earlier than our departure time to Masai Mara they even called up our driver at 6 AM IST to inform them of our arrival. Do try them out!”

MASAI MARA

This should be a must visit. Kenya's & Africa's most famous park, where millions of Wildebeest cross the river during Jun-Oct season and also where Big 5 can be sighted. Expect to see some hunting sequences. Approx. 6 hours south of Nairobi. [10 of 10 people pick this park]

news image

AMBOSELI

Huge herds of Elephant bulls in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Approx 5 hours south of Nairobi. Must go if you want to see Africa's tallest peak, the Kilimanjaro. [7 of 10 people pick this park]

news image

NAKURU

Known for Flamingos, RalphsChild Giraffe, and more improtantly, Black & White Rhinos. Seeing Rhinos is very tough in Mara and to make sure you see the Big 5 for sure, you should add this park. Nestled between Mara and Nairobi, approx. 2 hours south-east of Nairobi. [8 of 10 people pick this park]

news image

LAKE NAIVASHA

If you want to add a boat safari or a walking safari or tented stay in the middle of the national parl or just see the park where Lion King was concentualized (Hells Gate), you should visit this park and make a trip to Hells Gate park. Located sort of midway between Mara and Nairobi, approx 2 hours drive from Nairobi. [8 of 10 people pick this park]

news image

SAMBARU

if you want to make sure you get to see Leopard, this is the best place to go as it has the highest number of leopards for Kenya. Also this park is north of Nairobi and North of Equator and you get to see Samburu Special 5 which you don't get to see in other places (Grevy's Zebra, Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich & Gerenuck antelope) [5 of 10 people pick this park]

news image

SAFARI VAN

Economical and works very well across all Kenya Parks. Cost varies from approx. $130 to $150 (based on the season) per group (max 6 to 7 persons) per day

news image

SAFARI LANDCRUISER

This is 4X4 and hence more sturdy, much bigger than van and hence more spacious. Also the roof line is slightly higher than in the van. A few inaccessible places, this 4X4 can go but will be tough for a Van. Ofcourse expensive than Vans. Cost varies from approx. $225 to $275 (based on the season) per group (max 6 to 7 persons) per day

news image

SAFARI OPEN JEEP with FLIGHT COMBO

With an open-sided 4x4 your photographic opportunities are widened and you feel much closer to the animals and the smells. It also tends to be much cooler as many closed-sided vehicles don't have air-conditioning. But this option is available only if you fly to the resorts from Nairobi rather than going via road (hence tends to be very expensiove). Cost varies from approx. $300 to $350 (based on the season) per group (max 6 to 7 persons) per day
